Primary responsibilities include managing and strengthening relationships with broker partners to ensure effective communication & collaboration. Drive growth of the home delivery branch of the business, developing strategies to increase customer acquisition & retention. Collaboration with cross functional team to achieve sales goals and optimize performance across broker, home delivery and retail channels.

Job Duties:

• Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns

• Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally
• Meet and enhance our relationships with our existing Brokers, build selling stories that support the needs of the sales channels
• Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures

• Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
• Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
• Setting discount rates and determining price schedules
• Advising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
• Setting sales quotas and goals
• Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities

• Identify key customer decision makers and determine appropriate approach.
• Work with our account management team to ensure broker commitments are met.
• Stay informed on changes in the customer’s organization and the logistics industry.

Experience:

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission and standard benefits.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of Retail Sales Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Passion for building relationships and solving problems.
• Ability to work in a team environment while delivering independent results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively convey market insights and conditions
• Effective time management and scheduling skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Enthusiasm for Oberweis’ mission of making life a little happier and a lot more delicious.
